The way leaders handle conflict can make the difference between having a successful, thriving practice, or practicing in a stressful combat zone with high turnover and low morale. How do you, as a practice owner or manager, handle the inevitable office conflicts? In a recent study, 70% of employees believe that effective conflict management is a “critically important leadership skill.” In another study, when employees were asked to rate their bosses, 41% believed that their bosses did not handle workplace conflict effectively.
This workshop will explore both the subjective and the objective elements of effectively managing all aspects of workplace conflict:
This Workshop is intended for business owners, employers, administrators, and management staff involved in the evaluation, discipline, and termination processes in their dental practice.
Course Design:
This Workshop can be presented as a 3-hour or full-day workshop experience. As with all Master Series Seminar presentations, this workshop is interactive and entertaining, and uses real-life case studies to help attendees learn the skills they need to be more effective in dealing with inevitable workplace conflict. Leigh and Judy will use a variety of formats to present the course content, and will incorporate live demonstrations, small group exercises, and lecture formats to provide a high-energy learning experience.
